Route difficulty: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ [run + hike] This out and back route takes you along Bow River and up to Tunnel Mountain. One of the most rewarding short trails in town. At the top you are rewarded with 360° views of the townsite, the Bow and Spray River valleys, the Banff Springs Golf Course, and surrounding peaks. When traveling in Banff National Park we recommend being wildlife aware and carrying bear spray on all trails.
